Judy is a wonderfully sweet dog. Her previous owners must have neglected her because she hadn't learned any basic doggie games, like fetch. She is learning how to play fetch with us now! She loves to snuggle and could be just as happy going out to the park for a walk then just staying in watching a movie. She's very adaptable.
That being said, because she was abandoned she has very rough separation anxiety and she can become destructive. She needs a family that can train her and spend hours and hours with her, something we would've loved to do if not for the ban.
She doesn't do great around other dogs, in fact she could get aggressive but I think this could get better with more exposure. I think the problem lies with shelter life and the harsh life of being a stray.
Judy has had a difficult life but even so she has found it in her heart to still have fun, to still love and to still be a wonderful dog. Of course she needs work, almost all rescues do but Judy can be an amazing companion to a family that is committed to loving her and giving her the best life.
